Compared to the Klitschko's Bowe's resume is comparable not including the Holyfield wins. So Bowe's resume is better but the Klitschko's did not reign in a great era, their choice of opposition is much more limited in terms of quality than Bowe's who had a plethora of quality opposition he conveniently did not face. Also the Klitschko's have dominated and reigned for a long time unlike Bowe who wasn't even a champion for a full year and defended against a fat, old Dokes and a guy who had lost a third of his fights in Ferguson. So it's very easy to rank both Klitschko's above Bowe. Though I think Bowe would have beaten Wlad had they fought prime for prime.
Who the **** did Bowe beat? He had memorable fights with Holyfield, a 205 lb cruiserweight. Seriously, who the **** else did he beat? Bowe could've had so many more fights against great fighters but he didn't. He didn't for a reason. He has no streak of dominance, all he has is some memorable slug fests against a very good cruiserweight.
He also walked away from a contracted, mandatory fight throwing his belt in the bin. Is the career high payday where Bowe's camp offered Lewis a winner take all prize fight - which Lewis agreed to, responded to and nothing more was heard about? Ward and Gatti left more of an impact with their fights than, oh, I don't know, Kostya Tszyu. Doesn't mean either of them would have beaten him though. ....and lost to him once. Lost. Based on? Losing to Lewis in the ams? Pulling out of a negotiated, contracted fight with Lewis to fight Jesse Ferguson and Michael Dokes? Being shot to **** at age 27? Is that you Riddick? How are things?
