This will be a bit different because Wladimir's prime was during the later stages of his career while Ali's prime was during his younger days. That being said, it's still a fun debate to have.

    vs
    Ross Purrity
    Jamaal Mccline
    Chris Byrd
    Corrie Sanders
    Lamont Brewster
    Francis Botha

    Prime Ali
    65-67
    vs
    Sam Peter
    Chris Byrd Rematch
    Calvin Brock
    Lamont Brewster Rematch
    Sultan Ibragimovic
    Tony Thompson
    Eddie Chambers
    Sam Peter Rematch

    Come Back Ali (1970)
    Quarry-Frazier I-Ellis
    vs
    David Haye
    Jean-Marc Mormeck
    Tony Thompson II
    Mariuz Wach

    Older Ali vs

With the listings of Young, Prime, and Comeback Ali atm, Ali would barely lose rounds against that opposition.

He might catch a tough fight on an off night.

    But that's unlikely.

    He deals with them handily.

Do you mean Mythical Ali, or actual Ali who was knocked down and nearly lost to a 175 lb man?

Mythical Ali doesn't lose a round.

    Actual Ali loses 3-4 fights.

Wlad's resume is rather poor, only his poor chin caused him to lose. Ali has a cast iron chin so would sail through easily taking no losses

How can you be so hypocritical? People defend Wladimir and say he's chin is 'good' because he keeps getting back up .. yet Ali not only got back up but won the fight and his chin is bad? Which 3-4 fights does he lose?

Actually, Wlads first fight with Brewster was well into his prime in terms of yrs and rounds and LOC.

And that is the only fighter and version of a fighter who Ali, in any of his "periods" loses to.

    And on a side note.........

Brewster, Peter, Thompson, Sanders, Haye, Chambers, Chagaev, Rahman, Sultan, Byrd and Schultz beat most anyone on Ali's resume except, Foreman, Frazier, and maybe Norton.
