he struggled with ozkan ? ozkan came in 10kg heavier, they fought at a catchweight ,ozkan has fought and fought well at heavy weight ,beating stan the man and adam watt, zambo won every round bar maybe one or two rounds to ozkan, zambo dropped him in the tenth, and almost ended his life in the twelfth. btw zambo is realy a welter,he blows up to junior middle cause thats what the k1 is held at.

and yes the greek boxing authority offered him a spot on the olympic boxing team to fight at the games providing he ditched his kickboxing sponsorships,he refused because thats his bread and butter.:yep

Source? How do you know this?

What about qualifying bouts for the team? There is absolutely no record of any boxing fight that I have ever found. And forget the "Its in Greek" excuse - I have Greek relatives in the fight game and they have not heard anything about 40 fights let alone 40 wins.

dont know any thing bout 40 fights for 40 wins, dnt know who mentioned that ,but he was amature boxing champion of greece.because greece doesnt have pro boxing he turned to kickboxing and made a name for himself there, because of his star status and notoriety the greek boxing authority offered him a spot at the athens games to fight for greece providing he give up his kickboxing sponsorships, mike considered this and refused.

how do i know this ,i was in athens at the time of the games,my first cousin services his honda s2000 convertible,we had dinner together and this was straight from his mouth. i also had dinner with him recently at restaurant in melb after he beat daniel dawson at the a1 no respect promo at vodafone.:deal
