Derek Chisora vs Tony Thompson

Be a very good fight that, good confidence booster for Del. Thompson has said though that if he were to ever come back he's want a lot more money, would FW put his hand in pockets and give it to him though?

 

With Thompson putting away the Chisora clone Chazz Weatherspoon with ease I can see no reason other than money why Tony would turn the fight down. Good fight.

 

Probably not. There would be the issue of annoying Price who fights on Boxnation (for the short term) by putting Thompson in with someone who would likely beat him. If Chisora demolishes Thompson (possible) then it would make Price's defeat look even worse. Up next for Thompson might be Fury in the US provided he gets by Cunningham.

I actually don't think Thompson would ask for a huge sum of money to fight the UK- it's just that he feels he wasn't paid that much for the Price fight.

 

Thompson would be far to good for Chisora. Chisora is nothing but tuff.
Thompson could use his height and reach and just pick Chisora off at will. All about levels and Chisora isnt good enough - doesnt have enough weapons

 

How much do you think Thompson was paid for the Price fight?

I don't actually think Thompson is very good, the price fight flatters them.
