Loses at least 1 in every sub category apart from the Wlad from the Sam Peter fight

    I have it 2-3.

I think McCall is a very dangerous fight for young Wlad. He's the style that bothers him most; Tough, rugged, and able to close the show late. I can totally see a Ross Purritty or Lamon Brewster occuring here.

Sam Peter I Wlad was a wreck. I think Mercer runs over him. He had no confidence at this point. Completely in a rebuilding phase.

This is all I think would win, frankly. I think you've got to give Holyfield a great shot, but beyond these 2-3 fights, I'm confident he repeats the rest of Lewis' results.

Pre Manny Wlad wasn't that good, so he could lose to McCall, Mason, or Ruddock. He might win those fights though.

He's basically interchangeable with Lennox. He should win every fight, but might lose one or two anyway. Vitali is the only real toss up fight.

The only surefire loss I see in here is the Ray Mercer that fought Lennox against the Wlad who first survived Peter. That intensity, that jab, that aggression; Wlad wasn't right enough for it yet. He needed that Peter fight to get his confidence that he could survive back.

I think the holy of the rematch, forcing his way inside, I think he breaks wlad down and stops him. The first holy sat at the end of the jab for twelve rounds gets shut out.

I could see that. I also don't have much faith in Mercer, so I could see Wlad winning too. Wlad would be more committed to the jab and grab technique than Lennox, which might throw Mercer off his game.

About 6. I don't think that pre-Manny Wlad does at all well vs. the iron-chinned punchers that Lewis faced early on and I think that Holyfield would outsmart Wlad (after all, he did a very good job against Lewis in their rematch) at least once. I also think that a prime Mercer vs. Wlad gets a very different outcome.

    :good

Let's not forget that Peter would have won that fight if he was remotely skilled.

I actually think Wlad might be able to beat Vitali. Styles make fights and Wlad throws the sharper, shorter punches and has better movement, so I can see him outboxing Vitali. On the other hand, if it became a brawl, Vitali obviously wins.

If Vitali is trailing on the scorecards after 9 rounds against Wlad, I see him going for the knockout and succeeds. Wlad wouldn't be able to use his lenght to escape punches.

I don't think Mercer is the toughest style match up for Wlad, even a pre-prime Wlad who can neutralise Mercer with his owwn jab and workrate. I actually think the bigger hitting more explosive Rudduck and Morrison are more dangerous for him, hell even Briggs and Grant for that matter. Not that I wouldn't favour Waldo, but they have the power and speed to bother him

If my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. Peter's chance was in the 10th, and he gave a good go of it. First two knockdowns were bull****, and Wlad was in no trouble, though he looked spooked.

Wlad showed what was what in the rematch, I think. The only question mark in the first Peter fight was whether or not Wlad had the confidence restored to the point he could handle business. He managed to avoid a meltdown and fight back, and it served him well. I just think Mercer's jab would have made that the wrong fight to restore his confidence on.

I do too, honestly. Speed and boxing skills over awkwardness. Vitali had to find the target repeatedly to knock a guy out; He wasn't a huge puncher. I don't think he'd have the success.

What we're talking about is a 32yo Vitali versus a 37yo Wlad, Wlad isn't 37 yet to judge that outcome
