I don't like John Bishop really. Used to to think he was okay but all the "Alright everyone I'm from Liverpool and I have a funny accent!" chat gets boring really quick. And that's coming from a Liverpudlian himself!
I don't get these radio/tv "moan-ins" straight after the event, the callers are mainly pissed and offer no insight whatsoever, I'm surprised that there isn't more abuse to be honest and by that I mean genuine abuse rather than somebody playing around infront of his mates. The Collymore one was genuis though, that's witty and thought went into that.
There's nothing clever about ambushing someone like that then hanging up without giving them a chance to respond.
I like the way Buncey was making a big deal out of calling back but he hasn't actually done it yet, also what could he possibly say that wouldn't get laughed off by the pranker.
Because he has often been a **** on his show. An example would be when he got some American fighter on the phone and started goofing about in a cowboy hat while he was speaking to him. If Bunce wasn't presenting a boxing show he'd probably be the sort of person who made the phone call
