Is he working both sides? It seems pre Price getting KTFO by a nothing punch he was more on the Irish traveler side. Post Price he is now being claimed by some as an Englishman.
He's lived his whole life in England but is from an Irish traveler background. He has strong connections to both. I don't understand why people get so obsessed about a boxer's nationality.
Hes both. Hes of Irish Traveller heritage and hes from England...dont see what the issue is. When De La Hoya came to the ring with a Mexican flag, no one shouted "HES FROM LA!"
Exactly, way I see it they can both claim him. Funny though, I've never been to Ireland and have met none of my Irish family but if I were a boxer I could probably right for the Irish title.
