Of the Fab 4 Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Haglar, Rate there attributes 1 to 10.

Duran had a better defence than Leonard and Hagler.

If he wasn't coming towards you he even showed an extremely good defence like the later rounds in the first Leonard fight when Duran started taunting him.

 

Hagler's defense was the best out of all the four. chin also the best. Hearns & Leonard had the worst chins. Hearns had the worst defense but terrific right hand (see Shuler fight)

Duran was really a lighweight but often gets mixed up with the other three

Leonard sucked at dealing with fast slicksters. couldnt hit a moving target, etc

 

You've got 8 and 10 for Duran's defense and no score for Hearns's defense. Also, are you talking in a P4P sense or when they were at 160, etc...

Anyway, I know Hearns's got the better power, Leonard the speed, Duran the defense and Hagler probably a 9 everywhere (complete package).

 

I don't like the rankings TBH... Duran had more power p4p than SRL or Hagler. Defense a 10 for SRL? Is this a joke? Hearns wasn't faster than Duran either... Not sure how hearns has a 10 in speed. Not only did Duran have quicker hands but had faster footwork.. which is a component of Speed. I guess it's somewhat okay.. but there are some glaring mistaking imo.

You can't give Duran a 10 for heart. Leonard made him quit.

 

Because this is an exercise in gay futility.

Obviously all these guys had ATG skills and qualities, and narrowing their qualities down to the things listed is doing them a disservice, plus, your ratings are all ****ed up- there's nothing to choose between them by your ratings. You're splitting hairs, and not very accurately.

This would probably be better if there was weight/p4p status given, but it's tough when you have a lightweight that got some work done at 154, and 160, two ww's that had some notable fights at or around 160, and then a natural, career mw...

Are we to rate them all at 147 except Hagler?

If you stipulated in a pound for pound sense, yes, but it's confusing the way it's stated.

 

Duran is one of my favourite of all time but giving him a 10 for heart is ignorant of leonards win over him 'no mas' doesn't deserve a 10 for heart regardless of the situation/excuses
