Should he lose his boxing license for heading butting Cello Renda? Renda could theoretically have to retire from boxing if the cut doesn't heal. The cut was one of the worst I've seen and in his interview after the fight he looked like he'd been beaten up really really badly his eye was a complete mess.
Shocking head butt. Renda looked a mess which was a shame seeing as he has only came back from a long time out. Hope to see him soon but can't see it.
I've seen Tyan Booth fight (live) twice and both times its resulted in a cut to his opponent (Ryan Aston and Marcus Portman) by an 'accidental' headbutt so i wasn't surprised when i saw what happened against Renda on ringside
If you look at pictures before the headbutt the eye already looks pretty mangled. He is fighting next week.
I was at the Carl Froch V Mack bill and he fought Ryan Aston, it was a fairly even fight and then around the 5th round (I think), it was called off wit a cut to Aston and declared a draw, Ryan had some mates just infront of me and he came over to talk to them and it looked like a nasty nick too
Feel sorry for Renda, been out a while now this will again keep him sidelined... ***** move by Booth who was on his way to getting beat
i only saw it from the 1 angle and thought it looked accidental as orthodox v southpaw headbutts happen quite alot but i didnt realise booth had a history of doin this.
