He earns good money as an amateur so unless he gets offered stupid money I can't see it, shame if he don't, he's a superb boxer.
He's turning pro after his contract with the WSB expires in May, I'm surprised that anybody who has heard of him doesn't know that by now.
I seem to remember reading an article that said he was looking at potential promoters for after WSB. Can't find the article though. Theres a Times article as well claiming a lot of suitors are trying to tempt him after the tournement is over.
2007 worlds he got beaten by Selimov on a close points loss, some think he should've won. He drew Selimov for the first round of the Beijing olympics and beat him easily on his way to gold.
I suspect that Vasyl turns pro right after the WSB campaign. And when he does he will clean out the lightweight division. :deal
Yeah he's signaled his intentions to turn pro after the WSB season is over. Im calling it now, he's going to be world champ in 5 fights. Broner look out:bbb
He's the exact same height as Broner and he's not exactly lightly built so I don't know why you say that. That kid Maxwell would tower over Broner and Rios as well, he's close to 6ft.
Loma doesnt have great power & he'll have to adjust his hyper-athletic style for 12 round fights. Once his feet slow down he'll get tagged more often, if they throw him in too soon with an elite opponent with a good chin & massive physical advantages (ie a Broner or a Rios) he'll get beat up.
