Adamek to fight tune up in Poland and then Arreola/Banks

    Tomasz Adamek will fight a tune up fight in June in Poland. It will be against someone from top 15-20. In September he got an offer to fight on HBO either against Arreola or Banks.

    Adamek fights szpilka and beats him by ud then he gets koed by arreola or he fights wach and gets koed

    Why is HBO guaranteeing him a slot all the way in sept? Talk about scraping the bottom.

    if hes going down this route, he should have fought pulev then, at least if he won he would be more closer to a title mandatory position against Wlad.

    I'd love to see a HW rematch between him and Banks.

    Cunningham pulled of a win (unofficially), maybe Banks can do it to.

    Thats because HBO offered him a much more lucrative fight against either Arreola or Banks. Also those are easier fights as he already beat both Arreola and Banks and knows what to expect. Fighting Pulev in Germany for much less money is a risky thing.

    doesnt getting the heavyweight belt mean anything to fighters anymore, in the past fighters would do anything to get to that one goal the heavyweight belt.

    No its more about why go through hard fights for less pay in order to get the title shot.

    He knows if he gets the title shot through either way Wlad will still KTFO him so why not take the easier way if the chance arises.:deal

    Adamek vs Banks would be a good one to watch. If Haye wasn't so intent on fighting just Vitali, this would be a potential match up also.

    Adamek has already beaten Arreola and he knocked Banks out in Banks only loss. I thought Banks was still going to fight Seth Mitchell.............

    All roads lead to Wladimir Klitschko. Whether he goes through Pulev or Arreola/Banks it wont make a difference, he will get that title shot if he wins. Which way would you chose if you were him.

    Adamek seems to have resigned himself to the fact that he can't do anything of real significance at heavyweight. We're not going to see him in against decent contenders like Povetkin, Fury or Pulev.
