Former IBF/WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Baby Bull Diaz (35-4, 17 KOs) will be making a comeback after three years out of the ring to face 33-year-old Pipino Cuevas Jr. (16-9, 14 KOs0 on April 13th in a scheduled 10 round bout in the lightweight division in Corpus Christi, Texas, according to RingTV. Former three division world champion Marco Antonio Barrera (67-7, 44 KOs) says his wife has given him permission to resume his boxing career after two years out of the ring. Barrera said to the Sports.inquirer.net My wife has given her permission for two more fights, provided theyre against top notch opponents. His wife must really hate him
I wouldn`t mind seeing Diaz again, but Barrera is making the same mistake as Morales. Especially with that plate he has in his head from that giant gash he got. Please stay retired. Great fighter, but don`t tarnish yourself.:-(
Barrera-Morales 4 would be worthwhile moneymaker for both and a good send off for morales as hes looking for one last big fight
THAT would be a dream even though they're both shot..just a big legacy and we can relive the memories.
Barrera's been out too long.I remember him saying he'd come back if he got a good enough offer, but it's too late. I had a bad feeling that a guy doing a dinner circuit tour when he hasn't even officially retired might mean he needed his bank balance boosted. Don't do it Marco.Let us savour the great memories.
"I wash clothes in my house and iron them, I cook and I bring my children to school. My wife gets angry if I don't iron her clothes well!" I guess Barrera didn't do a very good job of ironing her clothes.
Diaz retired before his time was up, i can understand a comeback though i thought he went to school and probably got a good sit down not take punches in the face job
First and foremost he's a fighter, its in his blood, can't stop that urge! No wonder Barrera has been making rediculous statements lately.
