If Floyd Mayweather had implemented the bob and weave could he have dominated MW-LHW?

I did. He said that Tyson was able to implement it because Tyson has really fast hand speed and great head movement. He also said that because Tyson was fighting mostly taller guys.

Bobbing and Weaving is mastering the art of slipping without using much footwork, how can this possibly be useless in any division? You're overestimating the size of the lower weight divisions. The average connect % between fighters in the HW division and in the LW division for example can't be far off.

You also believe too much in predestined athletic abilities, abilities can always be gained through hardwork. Floyd can conquer the MW division if he wants to, he also won't be gaining that much weight. It's just about his desire and the amount of work he's willing to put it in.

    "Bob and weave?"

Mayweather is waaaay past that noise. He uses something I like to call "The Quark Offense:"

    - He's everywhere at once, and nowhere at the same time.

Partical physics jokes on ESB. Whoodathunkit?

Bob and weave is/was mostly used to get inside range and past an opponents jab. Floyd being a counterpuncher waits for an opening he has had no use for the bob and weave.

Why do you think Floyd likes to counter punch ? Is he born with the ability? Or he develop it later on in life?

This is kind of stupid. This guy isn't a natural middle weight, and with his defensive style (how he is where he is) why would he give that up for a bob and weave tactic?

Had Mayweather bobbed and weaved most punches he would be on the canvas. Middleweight is the sweetspot as far as power and speed are concerned

If it ain't messed up, dont fix it!

Floyd has a iron chin though? I'm asking do you think it's possible for him to learn the tactic like Tyson did? Did you see the Berbick Fight? Tyson ducked so low his lips touched the ground and he made Berbick look stupid.
