The Hawk would have a good chance but might struggle with DLH

People underestimating the focus it takes not to have an off night Duran for example would beat anyone on Floyd's resume if hes fully prepared however during his own career there were fights were he didn't show up in good condition and looked lackluster its not inconceivable that he would pick up a loss because of this

Of course everything old is better. The coke heads vs the HGH'rs. Pick your poison. I for one think Mayweather matches up nicely with any champ from any era from 130-154. But that's me. He does everything good and many things great. What else do you want? Duran at 130 is maybe the best, but other than that I'd go with Mayweather. If sugar ray made Duran quit with his legs imagine his level of frustration when he coil ups barely lay a glove on Floyd? Floyd is great. He is on level with the old school greats so to talk like any of these guys would just roll him over is just showing your age

Who's the most dangerous opponent on Floyd's list that could really trouble Duran I mean really ? Even a poor conditioned Duran is better than half of Floyd's resume! Can't believe the crap I'm reading !

How would Floyd do if he went through Duran's resume?:think

    Hagler, Hearns, SRL X3....

I would say stylistically Marquez and ODLH would have been the most difficult opponents for Duran from Floyd's resume. And I would pick Duran UD12 over both of those versions that Mayweather fought.

This thread goes to show just how good Floyd is imo. Duran is the only name constantly being mentioned. He happens to be slightly ibgger than Floyd too

Homicide, another top 10 atg, could do it.

Oscar wouldn't. He was unreliable and inconsistent

Why do you think Junior fought DLH and Cotto ? They are both known to tire in there fights. He also avoided fighters who became stronger as the fight went on. He learned the lesson against Jose Luis Castillo. He has avoided big strong guys ever since..

Mosley is known to do better in the later parts of fights

Oscar and Mosley are good names. Both looked their worst and were inconsistent at 154, in their primes, I think they'd beat everyone on the list at the time Floyd fought them.

Duran is really the best bet. He's good enough at 130 and good enough at 154, but I think the Cotto and De La Hoya, although both past their primes, were clearly energized to cause a big upset, especially Cotto who I think may give 154 Durans problem as Coto under the guidance of Pedro Diaz would exploit Duran's advanced age

Agreed ..Oscar could be the toughest of the bunch but outside of that Duran runs through tha resume with ease .
