Posted just a little while ago today on skysports... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12183_3354851,00.html They are suggesting Wembley, 100,000 supporters and it seemed a hint of possibly light welter...
this would be Historic:good but the only problem is that Floyd is gonna ruin him even worse next time:yep
Not at 140 he won't. I still think Floyd has his number, but it won't be a six round contest followed by a point deduction and a challenger losing the plot before being taken out!
As long as it happens after a PBF vs Cotto bout I have no issues with it. Arran actually co-signed the possibility of Hatton entering the ring on a unicorn, that I would'nt miss.
damn right, lets get priorities right. But in terms of the contest at 140, I still think Floyd will do the biz but will be much closer, Hatton will be able to impose himself more physically and have more success trying to adopt a rugged approach in an attempt to wear PBF down, but Pretty Boy's far superior skills and speed will tell
can we please get away from talking about **** referreeing,**** excuses blah blah blah ... we know what happened and we can take what we want from it,it is all very subjective and i dont think everyone on here will decide one way or the other. but what we are talking about is possibly the biggest fight to ever happen and although not good for the welterweight or light weleterweight divisions,it would be immensely important for the face of boxing,it is an event that could really propel boxing back into the mainstream and away from the basement of sports editors minds.
here here!!! this fight infront of 100.000 fans and being broadcasted across the globe would propel boxing onto a whole new level. ok ricky isnt the toughest of challengers for pbf at this momemt in time miguel cotto is, but the after pbf v hatton 2 pbf v cotto would be a bigger fight in a global sense. ok ricky hatton isnt the most talented pugilist around past or present however he has made the sport more appealing to a wider range of people, hence making our sport great again
I'm not a Floyd fan persay...but Alfonzo Gomez is 3 classes below Hatton and an old DLH. You sound ignorant trashing Floyd's next fight when your mancrush is fighting a "contender". ****in newbies.
If a rematch at 140 in the UK will stop all the cry-babies from crying foul, I'm all for it. The result ain't going to be any different.
