1.Bute becomes IBF champion in october 2007

2.Pascal has his first title fight in December 2008 (!) with Froch and loses

3.Pascal passes to LHW, jumping in to the opportunity of a new title fight ,the first with Diaconu.

Conclusions:

There was ALMOST TWO YEARS Pascal could have thrown his glove in front of Bute FOR A MAJOR BELT!HE DIDN`T DO IT! HE WAS IN THE SAME WEIGHT DIVISION!What are you going to say? Was business, right? Then, why Bute is called coward later by the same Pascal BECAUSE HE DIDN`T WANT TO TRANSCEND THE WEIGHT CATEGORIES TO FIGHT FOR HIS RING TITLE?Its not the same business? Especially when he had the chance to fight with Super Six Winner for clearifing the 168.Sur, that not hapenned , but we discuss for the specific time.Bute was succesfull at 168, Pascal left the category as a defeated at high level, so?Because Bute didn`t want his lineal , at category he wasn`t used to fight and having success in a much deeper category, he`s a coward?

I think pascal needs to find a new trainer, his current one is ****. He could pick some things up from mayweather , i still expect him to finish Bute.

Pascal will blitz Bute out of the ring.. He is too explosive for Bute.

 

Last time Floyd worked with SR was the Marquez fight, and look how good he looked. I feel like SR has him more as a complete fighter, particularly with lateral movement and the jab.

 

Pascal wasn't able to blitz Kuziemski out of the ring.

 

And that was at 182 lbs. I don't think Pascal can still be explosive like he was a few years ago. Hell, I'm not even sure he can still make 175 lbs without draining himself!

 

We don't know if he's able to box with 2 arms either. There is a reason why Pascal opts out of the Dawson fight: his career won't last long from now.

 

Bute was already in trouble when this first got signed, regardless of who trains Pascal.

I'm not sure Bute is as bad as you think, and I'm not sure Pascal is as good as you think.

Let's hope the fight finally takes place. Yesterday, Dawson said he would not be mad if Pascal fought Bute instead of him. I assume this is a sign that we'll hear some news soon about that fight.

 

It isn't about Bute being bad, I never said he was. Nor do I think Pascal is some ATG.

Given their styles & intangibles, I just see it as being a horrible match-up for Bute and one he will by KO. :good
