Sturm is going crazy on his Twitter.
Too much to quote here but he says, Soliman demanded his own doping specialist doctor from Thailand before the fight, who, told the anti doping comission, for what substances Sturm should be tested. He said that it was a substance that team Soliman thought it could not be detected by urine testing. Soliman's doc demanded specific tests with which they thought, Solimans violation would not be busted. Sturm also said that a doping-newbie would not have used such a hard to detect substance. He believes that Soliman is a regular doper. Sturm said that Soliman contacted a lawyer instead of confessing everything.

Gun to my head I'd say this is cooked up crap to save Sturm's image and salvage another payday or two.

Ironically stuff I was reading before the bout from Soliman's camp claimed they wanted testing before and after the fight and Sturm's side wasn't complying with their wishes. lol

Whether Soliman was doped up or not (and its probably not) Sturm should be thinking about retiring after that performance.

Not to put them all in the same boat but many Aussies seem to have taken a page out of the US book by supporting their cheating athletes...:-(

IBF boss Lindsay Tucker says there is no obligation that Sturm will be nominated for a future eliminator. Soliman was no 1 before the Sturm fight so there was no need for him to fight Sturm.
So now the IBF will not regard Sturm.

That's true but if the B sample is opened and comes back positive, the fight will have to be ruled a no contest. Usually, that means that the boxer who lost the fight gets not only the loss erased but also his ranking back. In this case, Sturm would go back to #3 in the IBF rankings. Soliman held the #1 spot but will obviously be banned from the rankings and the #2 spot was vacant. Therefore, Sturm would be the highest rated contender. I guess we will have to wait for the final result of the doping test and the following rulings first before we have a definitive answer. Also, we will have to see if the IBF follows their own rules.

As of now, Soliman has contacted his lawyers but not yet requested the B sample. If he does not open it, he accepts the results of the A sample and is therefore a convicted doping user. Honestly, I think he is trying to put blame on Sturm and his team. So far, it sounds like Soliman's team suggests that his sample was somehow tampered. Which I don't believe, since the NADA is a strict and believable organization that partners with the WADA. Until proven otherwise, though, Solimans needs to be seen as innocent. I don't believe he is, though, and think that the B sample, if ever opened, will prove the positive results.

German boxing is so corrupt I wouldnt surprised they faked the positive results.

Soliman is about the nicest and most honest boxer out there. I would be SHOCKED if he was really doping.
