Two new "Major" Matchroom signings in the next 2 weeks

Haye and Selby perhaps, although he needs to be careful with 20 shows a year on sky and some of those prizefighter, he could fast become another promoter who can't get his guys on shows, unless of course Sky change there policy and go back to everyweek. Perhaps Sky if they are happy with boxnation figures want to build a big enough stable to go with there own boxing ppv channel for a tenner a month. Now there's a thought if Eddie signs all the top and upcoming fighters, we might finally get the all British showdowns we often seem to miss.

Blimey, sussed it out, thats what Eddie is upto, this time next year he will announce MATCHBOXnation, 2 shows a week, a British title or showdown each week plus the real stars fighting in proper world title fights.

No ones mentioned Buckland, he could be available and he has a connection through prizefighter.

 

Buckland is fighting on Murray/Martinez undercard.

 

Agree on Murray he looked very average against Ancliffe and was wobbled, Ancliffe couldn't crack an egg.

 

Buckland is a cracking little fighter, has improved a lot since the defeat to Murray, he should be fighting for the European by now, would be wise to change promoters as Hatton hasn't got a TV deal.

 

Like Buckland too. Some Welsh channel should do a reality thing on their gym. Buckland's a head case. Likes to spar without gum shield. And every spar is a war. Can't see him having long career but would give any 130lb champ a torrid night.

 

Have to agree with everyone else reckon one of the signings will be selby who has a decent shot at being a world champion if going down the IBF route!! I would hope the other would be a heavyweight but not sure who's available. I would love to see price at matchroom but can't see that happening. Most likely be one of the Olympians!!
