    Confirmed for May 4th.

If HBO had secured Mayweather, it would have been Wlad-Jennings.

However, since HBO lost Mayweather, it is now going to be Wlad-Pianeta,
and US TV will most likely be EPIX.

Fury and several others said NO.

Pianeta isn't the greatest choice, I will agree with that.

However, when you get HBO not taking the fight because of losing Mayweather, and then you get several other fighters, including Fury, who say no...Wlad has to "take what he can get" at this point. And I'm okay with that.

There are a lot of things in boxing (politics, locations, tv rights, etc...) that most people don't think to take into consideration.

are you promo guy for the klits?

thats the first time 99% of people have laid eyes on this opponent.

look at the size of the names - he is basically admitting he is fighting a nobody in his own promo poster

Anyone who willingly attends this fight wants euthanising. That includes both fighters and their cornermen.

Pianeta is not a "nobody". Is he one of the top challengers, no he's not.
But there's a big difference between being one of the top guys and a "nobody".

The truth is, Fury has said he is not ready, and Sauerland made it clear all of their heavies (including Pulev) were out for the May 4th date.

As I said in the first post, it would have been Jennings had HBO picked it up. It is what it is. Pianeta is a decent fighter, he's not a bum . . . and it's "slim pickings" for Wlad right now.

Looking forward to seeing Wladimir fight on May 4. :good

I'm still hoping he can fight three times in 2013.

Just printed this off and am heading off down the tattoo parlour with it. I've always fancied some body art but I've never been sure what to get. I always wanted something powerful, symbolic and emotive and I knew that one day I'd see a graphic or a design and just know that it was the one.

    This is the one.

The Klitschko's low ball a lot of fighters then claim "they turned it down". Wlad really is a disgrace the last 3 voluntary defences have been shocking.
