Anybody else underwhelmed that Groves is chief support for Froch?

George Groves being chief support on any card will not make it worth 15 quid whoever he fights. There are really low expectations for the standard of PPV events these days, no wonder promoters get away with serving us ****

Groves Vs Dirrell would be a horrible fight and not one that I can ever see getting made. Aside from that fact that Dirrell doesn't seem to want to fight anyone anyway, he won't be coming back over to the UK after his last fiasco with Froch and neither of them need each other. Both are a big risk for the other at this stage of their careers, Dirrell seems to want to hang around waiting for a title shot one day from someone and Groves taking him on is a big risk fight for him when there is no title on the line.

Agree with this. Still don't believe Froch vs Kessler is PPV worthy and will thus not be buying it.

Burns vs Vasquez on the other hand is PPV worthy in my view. Hence so annoyed with what has transpired over the last few weeks, ending in the fight being postponed. When we all knew something was afoot for weeks.

    Hence I ditched boxnation.

Comes down to principle at the end of the day and not money.

I don't think Burns vs Vazquez is PPV worthy in comparison to Froch/Kessler.

Burns vs Vazquez is two alphabet title holders, one with a horrible awkward style that isn't exactly fan friendly, the other with a lack of power and finesse that tends to win fights on work rate and strategy. If you had to pick the more entertaining of scraps it would certainly be Froch/Kessler, two proven world champions that have each only lost to the best in the world both in the last chance saloon, having already had a fireworks fight the first time around?

I am not really certain that either fight, without a very good under card are PPV worthy really but of the two certainly not Burns/Vazquez which I think would have been a stinker.

Well Froch vs Kessler is certainly not PPV as neither man are the best in their division.

Whilst at Lightweight, no one knows who is the best, out of Burns, Vasquez and Broner. Hence more PPV worthy IMO.

I know what you're saying mate, but really PPV worth is simply down to how many buys it gets. If they got Bruno out of retirement to face Tyson and it got 1m buys it would be considered PPV worthy by Sky even if it was a total freak show farce.

Mayweather's fights are often PPV but he fights non competitive joke fights like the one against Ortiz but gets a pass because he is P4P #1 apparently.

After Lee's last performave Im not interested in seeing Barker dominate him and stop him late...Groves v a decent opponent is a much better option.
