Hi, I'm an am boxer in the UK, I've had 12 fights over a period of6 years whic really doesn't reflect my experience - so many cancelations and opponents pulling out and I took a year out to just train and coach other boxers. I've won two regional titles and got a lot better as I got older, just turned 18.

Anyway I've decided that I'm going to turn over to the pros in the summer whilst I'm at uni, dip my toes in the game as I feel I'm more suited to it. Problem is, I'm not sure how to go about it, my am gym doesn't do pro but I'm looking for a club in the Liverpool area. Does anyone know what my best move is or have any tips?

    Cheers

Find some pro fighters and get their advice about who is good in your area. The last thing you want is to get stuck with a manager who's gonna use you as his meal ticket.
