    he usually fight on Bute's undercard so i guess we will have neswsas soon that Bute sign to fight

    He was sick.He couldnt train like he wanted to because he was always tired for some reason.Im guessing hes still taking some rest.Thats the last i heard about him.

    The problem was that he was over training.

    A young boxer like that should be in the ring not in the gym!

    You didn't get that joke did you? Cote's nickname is Apu. :lol:



    Apu retired. He's a fat man now. Huge problems recovering from overwhelming fatigue in training camps, burnt himself out training in the gym and was diagnosed with a permanent illness which indicates he would kill himself training if he underwent another camp.

    Damn shame, he is basically Canada's answer to Alexander Frenkel then? As in, a guy with lots of promise cut short by circumstances outside the ring (barring the usual cliche of legal problems, as is most often the case with "could-have-been" cases in boxing)

    His run of form in 2011 suggested he could've really lit a spark in the light welter and welter landscape of the last few years.

    I picture him (adjusted slightly, projecting a bit of polish as he developed) vs. everyone ranked top 15 at 140lbs and yeah, those all would have been tremendous action fights, and competitive.
