I think Bhop is on PEDs but they didn't have anything to do with cloud losing. Cloud chaning his style up completely did.

I don't know what his trainer was thinking with that gameplan but he should be replaced immediately.

Yes, Hopkin is a genius - da Vinci, Aristotle, Einstein, Hopkins.

I believe Hopkins is juiced up. People say he can fight to 48 because he only eats vegetables. I have news for those people: if eating nothing but vegetables enabled you to beat the world's best at 48, every athlete on the face of the earth would be eating nothing but vegetables.

This is something way beyond PED's.

PED's don't help you completely school 31 year old world champions at the age of 48 otherwise everyone would be doing it. Mastering your craft does.

I will say that Cloud landed a few punches that should have had a much greater effect on a 48 year-old guy. Hopkins did make the occasional mistake defensively but ate whatever Cloud gave him like candy.

    don't think he's a vegetarian....

it's always a possibility that anybody in pro sports is taking something illegal, but it's also possible that hopkins is doing what he's doing without peds. he's a master and he's never abused his body (doesn't drink, smoke, or eat much junk food) and he hasn't really been beat up.

I'm sure that is the case with many, many athletes, but extraordinarily few of them are participating at a world class level at 48.

Cloud is a big puncher. He was the facorite and Pascal hurt Hopkins in both fights.
Oh, and lets not forget that Hopkins faced the LHW champ, nr 1 contender and a former LHW belt holder in back to back fights. Dawson was even ranked P4P at one time.

Honestly, the urine testing is so bad that I think it would be more noteworthy for a fighter not to be cheating. Let's face it, it's likely both Cloud and Hopkins were taking their nightly testosterone cream and human growth hormone treatments, and both were pissing out clean in the morning. The difference is that one guy was 17 years younger than the other and the youth advantage was compounded. Also, it wasn't like Bernard Hopkins came in looking like a 21 year old. He looked old and shot at both the weigh ins and on fight night. He wasn't able to find the fountain of youth; he used the knowledge and technique that is gained from years and years of study to his advantage. Age was both his disadvantage and advantage. He took a younger fighter to school, not by slamming the book against his head, but by 12, slow and rigorous, page-by-page sessions.
