They had a tender moment backstage after the Froch fight.


Ward: I appreciate you coming. They said David Haye was coming for him, and I said BHOP was coming for me.

Hopkins: That was a masterful performance.

Ward: This is your hometown.

Hopkins: It's yours now, we can share it. It's big enough for the both of us.

Ward: BHOP, we ain't fighting. I respect what you're doing and I wouldn't.

Hopkins: No, we're never fighting. They don't have enough money for me, or you. And if you change your mind, I'm moving out of the country.

They are not good friends, its more like Andre Ward looks upto Bernard Hopkins thats all. Hopkins and Ward don't hang out together, they do nothing together. Broner and Mayweather now..? That's a friendship.

 

Saying he's your friend seems like a pretty successful way to avoid Andre Ward.

Allot of people expected Hopkins to lose whats funny is that going into the fight here on the forum nobody even spoke about it even in prediction threads... it was very dull around here as if nobody really wanted to see this because of the way Hopkins has looked in his past 4 fights.

So you have a poster here using logic and basing this fight off of Hopkins last 4 fights who makes a call that doesnt go through and because he got it wrong you want to talk trash about the guy?

I wouldnt say any of those who predicted a cloud win dont know **** about boxing or was simply hating on Hopkins they were using logic and hopkins previous four bouts....

Problem is we are in an era today where 48 year olds can run out get undetectable steroids and look young all over again..... all while beating the test....

Yes Hopkins won no doubt, but to cheap shot someone over it.... Grow the **** up
