Ridiculous, Wilder is years away from a step up like this.
They are gonna ruin this kid I'm telling you.

Wider wrecks Thompson...it's funny to me that people **** on Wilders resume, and act like this (TT) validates him. Thompson...seriously? That's all it takes, beating Tony Thompson?

    Perfect fight for Wilder, IMO.

Thompson obviously has a lot of fan recognition, and although he can obviously bang, he's a little slow.

It's not a fight I'd like to see, because IMO Thompson would not even pose a challenge to Wilder, (laugh all you want) and Wilder desperately need a wake-up call. Thompson got incredibly lucky against Price, and is massively overrated by a lot of people. Most likely, Wilder would win by KO in 1-3 rounds, and then he'd really be in trouble, because he'd get way too full of himself. He needs to fight a fast, aggressive pitbull. Someone like Jennings, Chisora, maybe Povetkin, heck even Adamek.

WILDER NEEDS TO LOSE ONE FIGHT. That would be the best thing that ever happened to him.

I seriously don't see Thompson posing any threat. Price made the mistake of going inside and then taking a breather. Wilder is an outside fighter, with tremendous foot-speed in both directions, and Thompson doesn't have the speed to force him into the ropes. It would probably just be target-practice for Wilder, while it lasted.

Of course, as a huge Wilder supporter / fan, I'd be thrilled to see a massive KO over Thompson on public TV, but in the long-run it would probably hurt Wilder.

Slap your head all you want, but Thompson is ****, and Wilder wrecks him. The exposure of Price is irrelevant, in the context of this fight.

And what about TT having more success in the 1st Klitschko fight than Haye could come up with? Pure luck?

Thompson is a huge step up for Wilder, who has feasted on bum after bum. It's not an opinion, it's a fact

I don't know if Wilder is quite ready for Tony Thompson, but he does need to step up his competition. I think Jameel McCline would be a nice test for the kid, then maybe a Ray Austin or someone like that. Is Monte Barrett around anymore? He'd be a nice step up too.
