    Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire won the Boxing Writers Association of America 2012 Fighter of the Year so that is why he's the #1 Fighter in the World today. He is facing a tough test in Guillermo "The Latino Jackal" Rigo so he fights the best. All the other top fighters face scrubs.

    It depends on how the boxing landscape will proceed.
    Mayweather and Pac will eventually decline.It remains to be seen if they could still compete over 40.
    Hypothetically if Mayweather wasn't there,Donaire,Ward and Sergio are strong candidates for pound for pound # 1
    But i will choose Donaire coz he scaled more weights in contrast to Sergio and Ward who are dominating just 1 division.
    Broner has the potential for being pound for pound #1 too because the light welter weight to light middleweight division is jampacked so there's plenty of chance for him to prove himself.
    But until he proves otherwise,Donaire is more deserving
    Nonito could be pound for pound number 1 but i think it will be short lived if ever because he's 30 so he needs some catching up to do.

    Why is mayweather #1, he's all hype and barely fights anymore, if he fought a schedule like Pacman, he would have 2 or 3 losses already. Donaire is P-4-P Number 1 because he fights the best and dominates his division while making millions and he's fighting the hardest in Guillermo "The Latino Jackal" in Nueva York.

    Mikey Garcia and Nonito Donaire would never fight they have same trainers and even if Robert stopped training Nonito, Robert said he loves Nonito and wouldn't let them fight. Now Mikey Garcia even said same thing as did Nonito, so enough with this talk they are all great friends. Donaire would KTFO Gamboa though, if Farenas can watch what Donaire does.

    I know the Mikey-Donaire story but how can Donaire be the best p4p over Ward when guys who are Donaire's size could beat him, Donaire is top 10 but you are a mark.
