Well Cotto will beat the **** out of Floyd, and once Floyd's ego and confidence are smashed, any boxer with a pulse will be his boogey man.

Nobody. Cotto will beat Mayweather when they fight, and Floyd will retire with a shitload of money in his bank account.

oh well it all makes sense now. just wanted to make sure but since you cleared it all up for me then i have no more questions. so cotto is unbeatable and Floyd has cherry picked his way to be considered the best in the game. i thought he had beaten a few guys on his way up to the top but i guess not.

man i feel bad because i'm the only one who got fooled into thinking he was actually a good fighter:patsch

This a wrong argument in my opinion. Given that Floyd has the better skills, does that automatically invalidate a fight he would just win with ease and instead go fight in a fake one in WWE or fight an old man he already beat? The point is, even if fighter A is virtually indestructible and supposedly fighter B has no chance of winning (but has the best chance among the current competion) the fight still should be contested. That way if people fought in theory, there would be no fights happening right now and instead computer generated ones where the outcome is decided even before the fight began. It totally invalidates the concept of competition itself. Plus given the fact that Floyd Mayweather isn't indestructible. Every boxer is a human somewhere in there and I believe Cotto can find the humanity in Floyd Mayweather.

I don't know about the KO, but Floyd would certianly outbox him. People always jump on the back of whomever is facing Floyd - Saying that "they will be the one", and it never happens. Floyd's never been in trouble, he's had only one close fight and that was against a prime Castillo. I really don't see how people seem to think Cotto would win. GRanted he's on a roll, but he's been in rocked numerious times, leaves himself open, is not nearly as fast as Floyd... Hell nothing aside from his power-body-punching is really on his side. Sound familiar (Hatton).
