In my appeal against the decision that my fight with Danny Green was fixed and I took a dive has been OVERTURNED in a court of law by three High court Judges !!!!!!!! It's been ruled the fight was legitimate and 5 weeks prep was insufficient time to prepare after 3.5 yrs off, Green not allowing a warm up fight and green making me drop from 94kg to 84 when the cruiserweight limit is 90kg !! I've NEVER DOGGED a fight in my life and am proud not only of my career but my integrity throughout it !! Thank you to my legal team to Billy Hussein and my solid as **** mates Don Fakary, Pete Stanton, James Harvey, Terry Searlis and Daryl Grundy......... 108Fights 99wins 9loss 73ko's AND '0' ****ING THROWN FIGHTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So this stiffens Greens claim that Briggs has a soft part of his skull which would account for his collapse in the ring after being brush with a glancing blow? How did this **** fish lips whipsy the bet reneger get back on this board??
The real story will come out in 20yrs or so. He wants all of his money now so sticking by his story to get it. If that's what a man's gotta do to get paid, then that's what he's gotta do :deal
Green has always maintained that he told briggs to have a tuneup but briggs stated he didn't need one, which is when green should have refused to fight him imo. Paul Briggs does not seem to be the most intelligent or clean cut character from an outsiders point of view, but i doubt if we will ever know the full truth
Yeah exactly, Briggs also conveniently doesn't mention the 'neurological issue' that was used in the days after the sham as his excuse in this statement, just that 5 weeks wasn't enough prep time and he didn't get the chance for a tune up - like I said, it was all big bad Green's fault :-( Yeah right, because while we're accusing Green of having no integrity, we also have to excuse Briggs for lying about his medical condition, coming into the fight severely out of shape & taking a dive, because that's what a 'man's gotta do to get paid' :-(
Did Briggs take a dive??? We will never really know, did green pick a deserving opponent for a "world title" defense??
Briggs took a dive and he wasn't deserving of the title shot. Surely no one with any common sense can dispute this.
Yet Briggs failed to state the part where he was the **** that signed the contract to have the fight with the conditions he is bitching about.
