I honestly believe that the roided up Vargas that Oscar beat, would beat Tito. He almost had Tito beat when they fought anyways. Vargas was a damn monster that night, juiced up on Performance Enhancing Drugs... and Oscar still stopped him earlier. Vargas won the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 9th round of his fight with Oscar. De La Hoya won the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, and knocked him out in the 11th. I have never seen anyone with a scorecard different than that. As I said, after the 5th round, Oscar took control and outclassed him. He took the 9th round off and let Vargas let out what he had left, and then continued to whoop him in the 10th, and 11th.

If we're gonna split hairs we should also acknowledge that Trinidad almost stopped Vargas in the very first round.

You are the biggest Oscar dick licker in the history of this forum

    1. It seems like this ****** tries to discredit everything Felix Trinidad has done in his career, who the **** are you, some 19 year old nerd who thinks Oscar can do no wrong.

    2. The version of Vargas who Oscar fought was better than the one Tito fought? What the **** are you talking about. Vargas was undefeated at the time he fought Tito, he never tasted defeat, had a huge victory over Quartey which motivated him mentally and was the favorite. Tito Knocked him down 5 times in a brutal beating, every boxing expert knows that you can lose your prime in 1 fight if the beating is bad enough, ask Taylor, Lacy, Reid, Grant, Carr, etc. Tito fought Vargas at his peak and destroyed him for good. He actually was dropped against two journeyman that he fought after he lost to Tito, his performance was so bad that his camp had to have a serious sit down with him and ask him if he was dedicated to getting back, he was on the same steroids then that he was on for Oscar so I dont know what the **** you are talking about

    3. You keep mentioning Pernell Whitaker for some strange reason with all these excuses, for one Whitaker was not P4P 1 when he fought Oscar so I don't know where the hell you got that from, Whitaker was 32 years old and not in the prime of his career, he had just came off a tough fight with Hurtado which he was dropped two times, and that fight was damn near even before the KO so you really need to learn about boxing. Second off everyone knows that Tito beat a shot Whitaker, but it was the only decisive loss we saw from Whitaker in his career because everyone thought he beat Oscar, do a poll on it, how dare you give Oscar some kind of credit, he never really hit Whitaker and landed a 100 less punches, Whitaker won clearly

    4. The majority of the public thought Quartey beat Oscar yet you keep braging about this victory

    5. Oscar De La Hoya was very tired in their fight, it takes alot of energy to keep Tito off of you, just watch the fights with Reid, Vargas, Carr, Campus and you will see, Oscar was so tired he knew the end was near, he could have been easily knocked out by a late started like Tito, no fighter in history has done that, not even the one's who pitch shut outs like Whitaker, Wright, RJJ, Mayweather, etc, they never say I have a lead let me run now, that only happens with fatigue and I am surprised that he was not deducted points for running

    6. Alot of the things you write don't mean anything, and you make very poor points like the fact you think him beating Mayorga faster makes him better, Tito beat Mayorga so bad that Mayorga ****ing briefly retired after the fight, and this was coming from someone who had never been knocked down in his career, once again he showed signs of slowing down in his next fight, thing's like that take alot out of you

    7. You can suck Oscar's dick on your own time, here you must let us type our opinions

I think I pretty much gave every reason why Tito is mentioned

Champ at 20, 17 title defenses, three division champ, all before the age of 28. Not many people do that my friend, and your comparing him to a guy who never had a strong showing in any of his mega fights

Oscar beat Tito, made him look like a fool. However, Don King owned the judges.

I agree with you, Tito looked like a fool chasing Oscar around the ring, if I was Tito I would have just laughed and pointed at him

If Don King owned the judges Whitaker and Quartey would have recieved deserved decisions over Oscar as well

Thats kinda sad... Oscar did wayy more as an amateur, professional, promoter, and head-to-head, there really is no argument.

Where was Tito ranked when he was dominant at welterweight on Ring magazine's top ten P4P? Does anyone know if he ever broke top 5?
