We also have free to air RTE2 Ardy, getting the country in behind our sport.

i understand were lacking in numbers but i think its quite possible for us to pull off our own thread.. the sport is alive in well in this country!! thank god.. our pros have grabbed the attention of people the world over, and we know what our amateurs can do. imagine if the whole joyce family went pro! ha we got a couple of champs there alone. i enjoy this thread as it is ( thanks ardy ) but would be cool to see irish alongside british and aussie..

Has anyone new information on the middleweight Henry Coyle of Mayo? I was there for his first pro fight on the undercard of the Duddy vs Bonsante fight. I heard he was ko'd by Omar Bell, brother of O'Neil Bell, but has come back from the loss. I know Iceman is from Chicago, so he would most likely have the newest of information (I don't know how to private message though). If anyone has heard of him looking for a rematch with Bell please post here. He's a good Irish fighter, and the world will soon learn that having a blemished record means diddley squat in boxing.

    Hello fellas,

Just had a little scroll this forum and there's some quality points raised!

One thing I'd like to ask Irish fans - Duddy - overrated or not?

I've only seen him fight a couple of times he looks a little laboured to me. Dont get me wrong, good domestic fighter but lacking on the world scene.

    Any thoughts?

Hey guys this is a great forum you have going on here, makes a change from the usual crap posted on the main ones! :verysad

Are there any more big cards coming to belfast in the near future? It's sad to say Belfast is lacking a serious contender, or a hugely popular fighter at present which is a shame as we always draw a big crowd.

I heard you lads were campaigning for an Irish forum! Why not use the British or European forums for Irish threads?:huh
