u really think floyd would come in heavy for a welterweight title fight?
No one expected that, and no one was expectin pac to test dirty, its just negotiation clauses that was to stop anyone from cheating

They're both bitches for not making the fight happen. How much do people need to discuss this?

:good exactly. It was only Floyd Sr (and Roger maybe?) at the time accusing him. And nobody took what he had to say seriously.

please read my posts closer. I didn't just say that video. I said he didn't mention it at all in that time period. I've had this argument before and I've gone back to find any quote or article about Floyd Jr talking about it and he never once mentions it.
If you remember, Floyd was very silent during negotiations.

and idk what the little tangent the rest of your post is about.

IT was either an excuse to avoid the fight and bring the media to his side

    OR he was on steroids

Yes I do... Does the state commission have a penalty for coming in overweight? Isn't that to insure the fighters come in at the agreed upon weight, like post fight testing is to insure the fighters come in the fight clean?

Not all custom demands are equal, quite sure I said that myself in the post you quoted.... Pac's team felt they needed a custom demand to make sure Floyd came in weight, a weight he never failed to make. Floyd's team felt they needed a custom demand to make sure Pac came in clean, although he's never failed a test. It's not up to us to decide whether one demand was necessary or not, because both were NOT

    . They both had concerns.

I, as well as the neutral arbitrator, disagree with your position. Floyd went from unlimited testing, to 7 days, to 14 days and honored the agreement made regarding negotiations, per the judge who mediated the talks Manny's team was not honest in regard to said talks.

He did it before, buying his way out of it, did he not?

The suit was already in motion by the time Floyd fought Shane. Makes sense that he'd STFU some about the accusation at that point.

What's made it look worse for Pacquiao in hindsight is that so many other boxers are pushing for stronger testing and failing, yet while its not perfect as we've seen with Morales it is a step in the right direction.

Chances are we will look back in 10 years and say the richest fight in boxing history didn't happen because one of them refused a test that all boxers are expected to take.

Mayweather said nothing before the suit. Ironically, he started mouthing off about the situation during the Mosley buildup and AFTER the suit.

of course pac was on steroids. its no coincidence that after the mayweathers started making accussations about him being on them that he started his decline because he was being slowly taken off peds

Floyd agreeing to the weight penalty was essentially him throwing a bone to Pac. And again, there was precedence of Floyd breaching an agreed upon weight which is what elicited Pac's side making the demand. Furthermore, weight terms are common in negotiations and thus they aren't a fair measurement of caparison to the uncommon subject of drug testing. Especially a few years ago when these events were at their peak relevancy.

No, but eventually after failing to negotiate a common-ground on drug testing protocol, Pac's side conceded. The concession was subsequently not enough to appease Floyd's side who then focused on securing the lions share of the purse - which speaks to my central point which is that Floyd's side is and has been insatiable in their demands and aren't too interested in establishing any common-ground.
