    People acting like Hop is unbeatable and conveniently forgetting he lost to Dawson.
    Clev is smart and its my belief he turns up and gives a showing nobody has seen before.
    He knows the **** he gets for his poor level of competition so fights in a crowd pleasing style to make the best of a bad situation.
    Hop needs a little time-out every round to carry himself through 12 and Clev isn't going to offer him that liberty.
    He also hasn't the pop to phase Clev and make him rethink his piston like attack.

    It's about llllllllevels, dino.

    Dawson is on a completely different level from Cleverly, even after looking as mortal as he did against Ward (who is himself on an even higher level, although drain may have been a factor as well)

    Interestingly enough, though, I've still not changed my opinion that Cloud might kayo Dawson h2h. :think So in some cases a boxer can achieve a W above their level, due to styles & attributes. I just don't believe that would be the case for Cleverly against Hopkins. I think styles & attributes work against him. Old B-Hop fought on even terms with old Calzaghe. Prime Cleverly is a poor man's old Calzaghe. Open & shut case.

    Think Hopkins would stop Cleverly, he will not fear his power and will not run as much
    Cloud destroys Cleverly

    Prime Hopkins is levels above Clev i agree, but Clev is by far a better body puncher than Joe was and i can see his legs slowing and being overwhlemed.

    By far? :think

    Joe's basement digs were underrated, I think. He troubled prime Kessler with quite a few of them.

    For some reason it must've been easier on his brittle paws thudding at those layers of muscle and organ-cushioning fat than firing into hard skull bone, because he did seem to sit down on them more.

    Yes, Cleverly mimics Joe in his style. And he is quite good at it actually. Joe shot out Hopkins clearly and I think Cleverly is more than good enough to at least beat BHop.

    Clev got better technique on his body shots.
    Its going to harm Hop just like it did Kessler.

    He could do something other than fight in a crowd pleasing style, namely not repeatedly fight **** competition. Better body shots... maybe against Shawn Hawk...who:?:?:?

    The boxers Clev dregs up....:lol::lol:

    Bhop schools him, fight probably doesn't happen though.
