    Good fight.

    Big jump in weight.

I hope Broner goes back down to 140 at least for a fight or two before making WW his home.

Well there's a difference between "respectable" and "excellent". The move is respectable, Malignaggi is the best fighter he will have fought, and at a higher weight class. Excellent fights are the ones waiting in the wings amidst the 140-pounders.

DeMarco will still be his best opponent faced.

    Malignaggi will be #2 though.

    You think so?

Historically it's obviously Paulie, but in terms of H2H competency, you may have a point. DeMarco was a harder hitter and a fresher fighter and top of his weight class. But I think the mobility, jab, and experience Paulie has might make him the more difficult package overall. I can see the argument for DeMarco though.

I wouldnt be surprised if Paulie out boxed Broner , he wont stand there and give broner what he wants, it`ll be jab and move and try to frustrate broner

Not a joke fight but not an excellent fight, it's a good fight though. Why do people act like he's DEFINITELY skipped over 140 & can't go back down after the fight, everyone at 140 is tied up atm, I don't get it

Lets say for a second he doesnt go back down to 140.
If he stayed at 147(assuming he beats Paulie. Its no certainty) and fought Berto,or the Alexander/Brooke winner, Bradley or Ortiz, would people still say he "ducked" 140?

Its respectable-ISH becuz I haven't seen Broner fight a decent slick boxer yet, but feather fisted and well past prime, nothing to go crazy over unless he does something spectacular to him

    Yes, stronger.

Which one of the 130/135lbs fighters that Broner fought,do you think is stronger than Paulie?

    The former for many reasons.

The fight is designed to make it look like a great feat of accomplishment for Broner if he is triumphant when in fact the opponent is far less threatening to him than many of the fighters at 140.

Furthermore, I don't agree with him getting a title shot at 147 because it undermines any semblance of a ranking system whether official or unofficial.

If he don't go back down to 140 it is a duck, hence why I believe he will go back down, everyone at 140 is tied up now

Even if he fights guys at 147 who present a greater challenge than the guys at 140?

Pacquiao, Bradley and a couple of others are bigger challenges than anyone at 140
