I think Broner is the truth, but why is he skipping 140?

147 is where the big money is still. And there is a lot of old legends past their prime who can offer easy, big paydays. Mosley/Pacman/Marquez/etc... All of those guys are winnable fights for Broner. 140lb's will not pay as good, and he is going to go life and limb against guys like Peterson/Matthesye/Garcia. Hell I think Super Judah schools Broner and I bet Maidana KO's him. Broner does not want anything to do with the nightmare that is the 140lb division.

And a winnable fight for Broner is Tim Bradley who holds a (fake) belt up there. And I say fake because Pacman beat Bradley, I don't care what anyone says.

The 147 roadmap for Broner is going to look something like:

Mosley (iffy on this one, sugar I think might be/should be hanging it up)
    Marquez
    Ortiz
    Bradley

Same here,I actually wanted to see him against burns,gamboa,abril.Abril/gamboa if no one else. But what fans want is irrelevant he wants low risk huge reward type fights like his big bro that is pretty clear.

Garcia is on Showtime and we all know Gamboa would get KO'd by Broner

he avoided the best at 135, so what makes anyone think he would have fought someone decent at 140. it seems he is looking at paulie at 147 and that is the weakest champ in the division.

going to 147 for 1 fight doesn't mean he can't go back to 140 lol. For his first fight over 135 Malignaggi's a tough opponent.....tougher than any at 135 and none of them want a piece of him anyways.....better chin/toughness/speed/size than anyone at 135. He'll get to the Garcias/Matthysses and Rios' soon. Rios will be next I think maybe even at 147 for Broners newly acquired belt.

It has nothing to do with 'hanging out with Floyd Mayweather'. That's Al Haymon and Richard Shaeffer's doing. Paulie Malignaggi has been in there with some bangers and I believe he hit the canvas once (to Miguel Cotto). Broner isn't going to just walk through him, in my opinion, like he eventually did to Rees.

He is not skipping ****.Welterweight is the glamour division of the sport right now. It's his career. He says I'm the next big thing. If the guys at 140 want to fignt Broner, then Why dont those guys move up? If he can move up two weight classes, they cant move up one?

he's getting an alphabet title. It means nothing really until he shuts his trap and actually fights the best at 140. Till then, it meaningless especially against a guy who cannot hurt him and is over the hill.
