I never said he wasn't a huge weight cutter. As long as he can make weight in a healthy way then there should be no problem.
You know I could easily nitpick at Jones resume.

Oscar had a problem rehydrating after making the 147 limit. He looked like a zombie going into that fight.
The Diaz fight was at 135 lbs

You can easily pick apart anyone's resume but your hyperbole of Pac being "A former FW" made it like you were saying he came straight from FW to LWW Armstrong-style, when in fact he'd already fought at higher weights than that.

That's bordering *******-type hyperbole my friend.

Having been around for both, I take Pac. When in doubt, I tend to take the guy who took the tougher road.

Morales twice, Cotto, JMM, MAB, Larios, even Bradley was better than a lot of guys RJJ fought.

LOL @ Larios. A dude who had just gotten stopped and moved up two divisions to fight Pacquiao.

Some of the comments on here are ridiculous. So what if Manny has won more titles in more weight divisions? He's had the opportunity. Are we going to say Manny's better than Ray Leonard, because Ray only won titles in 5 divisions? Was De la Hoya better than Ray?

Also I think that Roy gets penalised for being too dominant sometimes. Manny's fights with JMM were amazing for example, but Roy was that dominant in his prime, he didn't need rematches. What if Roy's fight with Toney had been extremely close? They could have had a rematch. Lets say Roy took the first one and Toney took the second? They could have ended up having a trilogy. Now lets consider if Manny had've dominated MAB and JMM, and there was no real call for a rematch?

Manny has probably been in more exciting fights. But most of Roy's fights at his peak weren't competitive, and he barely lost a round, and they weren't just against binmen. Like a line from his famous song "they have the nerve to say I ain't fought nobody, I just make em look like nobody" If he'd have had a life and death fight with someone like Ruiz, it would probably be classed as a great win. But because it wasn't exciting, and Ruiz was dominated, it gets classed as a nothing win.

In a year 2000 documentary titled Roy Jones Jr - The worlds best fighter? Roy bizarrely gets criticised for not being involved in rematches and great trilogies.

If we're going to compare these two great fighters, we need to do a fair assessment. We need to look at who they fought, at what point and how they won etc.

Roy has now taken care of both Pacquiao and Mayweather on here in separate threads.
