Unlike Bute, Kessler has no problems with pressure fighters.
If Froch goes on berserker mode, I can see the fight unfolding like Kessler-Andrade, but with more body shots from Kessler, and a bigger chance of a stoppage, since Froch's beard probably is not as good as prime/undefeated Andrade's.

I think Froch gets the stoppage on this one. Mikkel has looked semi-shaky in the punch resistance department since the Froch win(which easily could have gone Froch's way). It'll be competitive, but I think ultimately Froch wears him down to get a stoppage around the 7th round in a mini-war.

Froch by 116-112, 115-113 type UD.

Kessler getting KD'd by Allan Green sort of makes me weary about his defense, but along with that his dominant stoppages since Froch I have him looking as physically strong as ever.

    Fight of the year!

I think Kessler will edge in on pts again, 115-113 maybe.

Froch couldn't beat Kessler when he was at his worst. Kessler actually does look better.. Remember Kessler struggled against Perdemo, was dominated against Ward and had to take 14 months off after Froch.
Now he has 3 straight KOs against lesser opponents, besides that one punch from Green, he has completely dismantled his opposition, and it looks like his accuracy is back, plus he has a more complete offense and a better coach (that he now has worked with for 3 years), he may not be on the same level as he was in 06/07, but definitely an upgrade over the 09/10 version.
    I got Kessler by decision.

I hope Kessler wins by stoppage. Perhaps I let my heart sway my head in the vote. Come on the Viking Warrior.

Kessler had a quiet confidence about him in this nights interview at Sky Sports.
He knows, that Froch is the one who has got everything to prove.
Kessler (like all Danes) loves the part of the underdog. The psychological pressure is at a minimum.

I think that 2013-Kessler has matured and evolved immensely, compared to the 2010-Kessler.

It will show on may 25th

Mikkel, takes this unless he is robbed. England,Denmark, America it shouldn't matter as long as the judging is fair.

I'm guessing he was "prime" until Bute knocked the liver out of him ?

Or what about when Mack had him on ***** st in the 1st round ?

    :patsch

Exactly. Body shot. That's got what to do with his chin, again?

Bute did land that looping left to the chin a minute earlier to score the first knockdown, while Andrade was rushing him against the ropes tossing a mess of punches off-balance. Legitimately ruled knockdown but Andrade wasn't terribly shaken up and probably wouldn't have fallen because of that shot if he wasn't lunging in like that. He was smiling on the canvas in plank position.

The body shot was a 1-hit KO...but had nothing to do with Andrade's resistance to head punches.

Oh you mean within months of getting absolutely tooled by Kessler nonstop for 12 rounds? Reckon that might've had a slightly debilitating effect on his shields?

Besides, he got up and went on to annihilate Mack.

As it happens, I disagree with the poster above saying Froch has a worse chin. I think in their primes both were iron. For you to go off to an extreme attempting to paint Andrade in his prime as being anything less than iron-jawed simply as overreaction to oksehud's statement is silly.
