I think people are making this into a bigger deal than it really is. Floyd was expecting Ward's support and didnt get it. Then the dick stain does a knee jerk reaction and publicly attacks Ward. What does Ward say? Talk on the phone 1-on-1 and settle like men in private setting if Floyd got a problem with him.... you can't ask for more maturity than this....

If Ward is supporting a fellow Bay Area fighter, then he's only being consistent with his character, with the intent of trying to get all his fights in the Bay Area to financially stimulate the local economy. He has said this intention on the Showtime specials....

The brother trying to return back what Oakland gave him, even supporting another bro of the same area. Floyd needs to be a bit more classy and not sweat him...

In my view, Ward made a mistake. He boxes at the Mayweather club and is even an acquaintance with floyd. It is implied that there is supposed to be some sort of loyalty between the two. Ward saying that he supports Guerrero is basically saying he hopes floyd gets hurt in the fight, knocked out etc.

He should have just kept quiet about who he supports or doesn't support. Mayweather also shouldn't have overreacted the way he did. Ward made the bigger mistake though.

 

People need to understand, Floyd doesn't have a 'problem' with Ward, he just consistently does the thing that most of you conceive as beef or something over-exaggerated, when it's him simply eve's dropping his name, just like he does with Pacquiao. Why? Because it makes headlines, just like this did.
