So Bradley is dragging a mediocre 140lb fighter up to WW?

This fight would have been crap when Bradley was a champ at 140. At 147, following the questionable pac win, this is just awful. Was there really no better fight than this available?

"Ring rust" and still moving/filling into the weight.

It's not a totally horrible fight.

Maybe he picked Provodnikov to put up an entertaining fight to win over some of the fans which absolutely hate him (it appears that's the majority).

I like Bradley. But I'd like to see him in with a live body.

He is taking rebuilding fight a fighter normally takes after a loss.

He tried to get Pacquiao, Marquez, Rios and Mike Jones, you know this.

Pacquiao declined a rematch and has publicly said he's not interested.

Marquez and Nacho publicly and repeatedly have said they don't want a fight with him.

The only other WW's with Top Rank I can think of are Mike Jones (in no condition for a Bradley fight) and Jessie Vargas (don't know how it could be seen as all that much better than Provodnikov).

All of the other notable WW's are with Golden Boy.

I can think of Senchenko as the only other makeable WW fight, and I'd rather see Provodnikov due to it being guaranteed more exciting than Senchenko would be.

Who else do you think is realistic at WW? Cause I almost literally have nothing.

He's regretting not taking the Khan fight and signing with GB, I tell people how bad TRs roster is, he really was willing to fight anyone at 140 and 147, hopefully this is a lesson to other fighters

I have no problem with Bradley taking a stay-busy fight against an opponent like this. What I DO have a problem with is HBO paying for this fight. There is no reason to enable Top Rank's disinterest in working with other notable promoters if these are the kinds of fights they're offering.

Khan fight offer was 1.4 million.

He made 1.1 million fighting Casamayor and 5+ million fighting Pacquiao.

For legacy, maybe you're right. But for he and his families' personal lifestyle, he 100% made the right decision.

I dont think this fight is too bad. Would have loved to see it at '40 though.

If he wins this fight, he'll fight Rios, Pac, or Marquez next.
