Fury vacated a title when Price became his mandatory, so if Haye is a ***** what does that make him?

 

Have to agree with you on that, but Fury has a huge point here what Haye fans desperately tried to dismiss lately.

Fury is all hot air. He says he doesn't want to fight the Klitschkos then calls them out. Says he doesn't want to fight Price, then calls him out. Says he doesn't want to fight Haye, then calls him out.

 

Fury is a funny guy but as far as boxing skills he's yet to prove himself

His fight against an overweight Chisora was one of the worst I've seen. The likes of Haye and Wladimir would easily knock the big bloke out.

 

There's a lot more to it than that. Price turned down a career high payday to fight Fury on national tv infront of an audience of millions.

Neither camp really wanted the fight

 

The chisora fight was a couple years ago now, at least he fought him. Despite fighting Rogan instead of price, he was and is beyond that level.

Fury will destroy Haye easily.

 

LOL Fury would not fight Haye he is just talk, but if he is stupid enough to fight Haye he will be knocked out!!!

 

Fury's team didn't want the Price fight as there were question marks of his dedication to training (basically he wasn't doing much of it) you look at him now and he looks a lot better.

Fury is a legitimate contender now and 2 fights (cunningham and Pulev) away from being mandatory for a Klitschko so whatever you think of him he has earned that right to say what he likes.

 

Maloney wasn't going to put Price in with Fury anyway so that is a moot point. We all saw how pitiful and awful Price is. Fury would spark him.

I agree Fury would probably stop him, doesn't change the fact that Price wanted it and Fury didn't. Maloney wouldn't have had the option of not putting Price in there if Fury had chosen to defend the title.

And using contractual disputes does not get away from the fact that Fury chose to slink off and become Irish, he had very little to say on the matter whereas usually he's very vocal about potential opponents. If he'd have wanted it the fight could have been made.

You have to remember at the time Fury was labouring to points decisions or soft stoppages against chubby Euros while Price was tearing through British opposition doing a better job than Fury (who controversially scraped past McDermott in their first fight).

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but at the time Fury was definitely unsure about Price, choosing to badmouth him on shitty social network sites a few months later rather than defend his title when it mattered. His silence was deafening.
