What do you rate Tyson Fury's chances against David Haye?

    I heard Fury on "thaboxingvoice" radio show and he said that Haye beat a journeyman in Chisora. He didn't just beat him, he stopped him. Now, I like Fury, but I'm not sure he would fair that well against Haye if they fought. The only advantage for Fury, would be his size.

    Haye struggled to land a big shot on Wladimir, so fighting Fury, someone who's 3 inches taller than Wladimir, could pose a slight problem for Haye. I still think that Haye could land big on Fury, like he did against Valuev. But is Fury's chin as tough as Valuev's?

    If Haye returns and does fight for a mandatory position, he would have to do it quick because Fury could go after the mandatory spot vs Povetkin or whoever. But Fury was calling David Haye a ***** on the show, so I'd be interested to see how Haye reacts to that.

    Thoughts?

    I'd heavily favour Haye in this match up.

    Fury is much quicker on his feet than Valuev, has a much better jab, and could keep Haye at bay for most of the fight, also, Haye is known to have a very low output against tall fighters, but he can land a single big shot that can put out Fury's lights if given the chance

    I'd favour Haye hugely against Fury. He's too quick, athletic and potentially hits too hard. Fury may cause some issues, but I think Haye would have way too much for him.

    He dosnt have a chance. Haye is too quick and can bang.

    Wlad was good enough to keep Haye at distance not allowing him in close which left him ineffective in that fight.

    Fury is bigger than Wlad, but is not skilled enough to keep Haye at distance every second of every round.

    As soon as Haye gets inside he swarms him with bombs.

    A year ago I wouldve said Haye wins via massacre but its a different fight these days.

    Fury has worked really hard on his conditioning & his fundamentals, he looks like a different fighter compared to the chubby guy who walked onto a Pajkic hayemaker.

    I still favour Haye, due to his speed & explosive power but I think Fury can use his footwork & jab to good effect, he'll land leather on Haye but he only needs to make one mistake or lose concentration for a split second & the fight could be all over.

    If Haye does his backfoot potshot "he has to because of the size difference" routine, he's going to lose a decision or gets caught along the way.

    But if Haye comes to fight, I can't see Fury standing much of a chance other than landing something big before he gets nailed himself.

    Well you have to understand that you CAN'T compare Wladimir klitschko a atg boxer who protect his glass chin really really good against Haye.

    But I can see Haye landing shots and it's then we know if Fury can take them. So for me it's a clear advantage for Haye because of his speed, defenensive skills and his explosiveness.



    Well this is acually very true. Fury has imrpoved a heck of alot since that fight.
