Not much of an opponent to go on, but yes, he has got a decent body attack, and a general degree of patience and calmness to his work that enables him to apply consistent forward pressure throughout the course of the fight without badly gassing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9pBujOeScw
:nod Body punches are maybe his biggest strength and weakness. He can dish 'em out well enough to put John away, but also might be done in by them.
Anybody know the running order? I actually won't be able to watch past 10:30pm local time, so hopefully Loaded starts with the main event like Sky Sports or it starts around 10:20ish and is over very quickly. :yep
This should be a gem of a fight while it lasts. English heavyweight fights are almost always exciting.
Correction! Because of daylight savings, the difference between the UK and eastern USA time zone is reduced from the usual five hours down to four. So this is actually on from 5:30-7:30pm EST. So, I won't be watching at all.
What time is this? Hopefully it doesn't interfere with K-1 WGP (ironically the sport where Skelton came from)
Skelton's stoppage defeat to Pulev was shocking, reach out jab to the body knocks the stuffing out of him? wtf was that. Combine that with the comparably weak stoppage loss against Price and you have to wonder if Skelton can take any punch to the gut. McDermott in fair shape and should have the motivation to erase the first round stoppage before but this guy exudes a lack of confidence so who knows.
