Hassan Ndam Njikam is an underrated fighter

i agree his underrated his got a pretty good jab too im a fan

 

out of all those fights i think he has the best shot against sturm,lee, geale, vera and possibly barker. Chavez jr as much as i dislike him would grind him down and stop him on hooks, macklin has a good shot at stopping him as well. they are all good fights but i doubt we'll see them get made i think Njikam is too much risk and too little reward. He'll probably be inactive this year.

 

I've watched him for years, he's a good B+ fighter but he's not elite. Quillin was very tight and was still able to put him down 6 times. N'Dam wasn't outboxing Quillin, he was outworking him, big difference. He's athletic and has a lot of heart but he just makes too many defensive mistakes. A more comfortable Quillin probably stops him in the rematch.

 

If only he was stronger defensively...This guy has one of the best footwork I've seen in rescent years but seems to have mental lapses in the ring.

 

I thought my money on Quillin was safe,but to be fair to the guy,he kept it competitive.

Quillin's left looked otherwordly that night,but to keep it real,HNN was wide open to it.
He's probably just below the Bika/Miranda level,which is still not bad.

Why didn't you mention Golovkin?

 

The amateur class of his trainer was apparent. He went through a whole training camp for a guy whose best punch is the left hook, yet his trainer didn't even have him working on keeping his right hand up to block the hook. A big shame, because he would have won wide on the cards had he kept his right hand up, instead of getting floored all those times.

 

Because he knows GGG obliterates his ass. :thumbsup

 

With those defensive deficiencies, he would likely get starched by Golovkin, Pirog, or Martinez.

 

he is good but the way he kept getting knocked down i dont see how he beats Quillin in a rematch, Quillin's stamina is terrible he gassed quite big in that fight but then got 2 knockdowns in the 12th to secure the win
in a rematch i can see Ndam getting floored alot again

 

N'Jkam's trainers suck, plain and simple. He would beat Quillen in a rematch comfortably if he keeps his right hand up.

 

im not sure man, the thing is Ndam could be outboxing Quillin for a whole round then Quillin knocks him down then its a 10-8 round for Quillin
you cant get knocked down against someone 6 times then in a rematch correct all them mistakes, werent they mostly left hooks aswell?
Hes a good boxer but Quillin is the wrong person for him to fight because Quillin throws punches randomly with power you dont see them coming because of his **** workrate

 

Love this this guy, wanna see him in more fights, him vs Quillin was one of the best bouts last year. I think he outpoints Quillin in a rematch
