Haye won rounds, you didnt even say he made it competitive had to resort to he won rounds

 

Haye - Wlad definitely was competative, not sure what fight you watched if you think otherwise

Haye doesnt fight enough or beat enough quality opposition to be ranked p4p, if he fought 3 times a year, possibly, he is a small man in his division but deadly. I generally dont include people from the higher weights p4p but toward the end of his cruiser reign / beggining of his heavy career hed be more than a fair shout to be in the top 10

 

competitive how? Haye just stood there waiting to counter so Wlad barely punched it was more of a dance than a fight, Haye won 2 rounds max

 

Sometimes I wonder if Pacquiao should be on the p4p list, is there anyone at 140 and 147 besides JMM and Mayweather he wouldn't be favored against? I guess you could argue some of the 140 guys but even me a Pacquiao hater will tell you those guys aren't on his level. Consistency is a part of my p4p formula as it should be otherwise we end up with over rated fighters on lists.

 

I beleive Haye won about 4, though I don't remember my card, but each round was competitive and cagey

lateral movement, feinting, moving in and out of range throughout, neither fighter landed many telling blows, but Wlad was dictating the pace of the fight

Peeps ridicule the idea of Floyd meeting a drained Ward at 160, but give Haye no props for taking on a world champ 32 pounds heavier and 6 inches taller in his backyard and making it a competitive fight (with a dodgy foot)

 

yeah thats the thing Wlad looked like he came to win Haye looked like he came to survive, Haye is smart and fast he knows when to time counters etc but Wlad was just stepping back and making him miss, Wlad could have done alot more but its hard to call it competitive when Wlad was landing the more telling blows each round even though there was hardly any

 

Isn't weight less important there, I mean the cruiserweight division is 176 to 200

 

I dont think he landed many 'telling blows' (neither did Haye), it was mostly jabs and putting Haye on the back foot

He won the fight on ring IQ imo

 

I mean like one flush jab from Wlad would win him the round because Haye werent doing anything
A few times Wlad would throw a right hand then clinch even if it missed it looks like he was doing all the work

 

To an extent im sure you're right but look at the fights being made at the moment, like Fury against Cunningham. The size difference is a joke, should these fights even be sanctioned? Its like Gamboa fighting Canelo

 

Shane Mosley was P4P no.2 prior to fights with Mayweather Jr and Mora.

After which he was booted off all lists.

It's only right that Pacquaio gets relinquished of pound for pound titling.

 

Pac is a warrior not a cherry picker.
