Main Event: George St-Pierre vs Nick Diaz

Co-Main: Carlos Condit vs Johnny Hendricks

Make your predictions and post why, when, and how you
think the fight will be decided.

    GSP Vs Diaz:

I believe that GSP will most likely win a decision, as much as I love to watch Diaz fight, GSP will play it conservative and mix up strikes with takedowns. The only way that Nick Diaz wins if if he finishes GSP which is highly unlikely unless GSP makes a mistake like he did in Condit fight.

Unlike Condit however, Diaz rarely throws effective kicks so GSP will not have to worry about that. GSP will also have to not get caught on the ground because Diaz is a legit BBJ and is dangerous off his back.

The thing I wonder if GSP did not want to take down a guy like Jake Shields, would he risk taking down Diaz who is much more dangerous especially off his back? hmm, Maybe this fight will stay on the feet majority of the time? I expect GSP to employ Condits tactics he used with Nick to secure victory.

    Condit vs Hendricks:

This fight I expect Condit to fight Hendrix like you would fight Dan Henderson, circle away from that power left hand. Johnny Hendrix has ungodly power in that hand and can put anyone to sleep if he connects. Condit will be moving constantly to stay out of harms way .

Condit is the more well diverse striker in this match-up and I expect him to stick and move. If Johnny turns this into a wrestling match then Condit could be in some trouble, as we all know that is his weakness. With title shot on the line, Hendricks might play this one safe to secure it and rely on his wrestling. Still.... Hendricks gets caught and goes down for first time in his career.

    Im gonna keep this simple

St Pierre decision in a very close fight, Diaz's tendancies to lean and poor in with his boxing will lend itself to a St Pierre power double, and if its on offer St Pierre will take it.

I see Diaz hitting St Pierre on the feet from distance with straight shots and once St Pierre gets uncomfortable he shoots.

Diaz will be blowing hard from the top assault of St Pierre and will become less effective on the feet as the fight goes on. As fit as Diaz is, he doesnt like fighting to an opponents pace, St Pierre will be operating at a higher anerobic level and Diaz will not like it.

St Pierre UD - Career best performance, Diaz will do himself no harm here!

Hendricks will wrestle and maul Condit to a decision, I dont think Carlos has an answer to Hendricks wrestling and Hendricks is an anaimal at the weight.

Hendricks 30 - 27 in an unflattering shut out
