And let me guess, Duran was a natural super middle who disgracefully drained himself to LW and below

And with the "program" Marquez is on now, he might be the bigger guy now. The only reason he still makes WW is, because every day is upper body day for him.

I agree. Steroids also help achieve post-puberty growth in muscle mass, among other things

Haha yeah Van Damme is a movie legend despite what the haters like to think. When i was growing up there was nothing but martial arts and fighting movies (Rocky, etc) on the TV. Thesedays, kids are brought up watching High School musical, Harry Potter etc...

Easy to see from this why boxing is growing smaller by the number.

Duran got out of shape, but he still was very heavy for his weight.

you could probably grab a picture a year or so later than that one where they're the same size. ward's got a stash (nice set of corn rows to match,) and a body like a man, and dirrell looks like he's still a boy.

the only thing that could have been better than that fro would have been a high top fade.

Marquez and Mayweather were virtually the same damn size. Mayweather is a small WW. He's barely weighing 150 while guys like Ortiz who moved up, suddenly weigh 164. Beto weigh in the 160's as well as Mosley. Those are guys who if JMM fought at WW would have a size advantage. Floyd is a small Welter and is virtually the same size as Marquez. He just whooped Marquez's ass because he was quicker and more skilled.

Look at the video and look at him making Marquez miss, and look foolish. That's because of skills and speed, not some mythical weight advantage that he never had.

with marquez he was gracious throughout, if memory serves right. it really was a nice gesture.

It's not hard to get outclassed if you come in fat and glacial slow, and your slow punches have no effect on the bigger opponent, when you get by his superior range.

Talking about Dirrell gets me disappointed.

So much potential but he's blowing it all a way.

Such a bad move affiliating with 50 Cent and dropping Haymon.
