If they ever put Provodnikov and Mathysse or Rios in the same ring.....

Honestly, I don't think Mathysse Ruslan would be that great plus its GBP no need to get excited over it.

Now Rios Ruslan would be great, because rios would never run.. and it would be an Inside war... Ruslan alvarado would be very interesting because ruslan is good, but not in Rios Level...

I think rios takes this next fight easy

alvarado fights ruslan... that should be a good fight, ruslan and alvarado are in the same level

Well, that's your opinion and it's a bad one. I think the russian is
right on rios level. It would be, by far, the hardest fight of rios'
career and he would get hurt in this matchup.

you can't go wrong with any combination of Provodnikov/Mathysse/Rios/Maidana for a guaranteed all action fight. I wouldn't mind a round robin

I don't like Gesta but I think you can throw him in with that mix. He didn't look good in his last fight but he was fighting a guy who wouldn't stand and trade with him. People are counting him out but he's yet to lose to a brawler. Top Rank has got some good fights surrounding Rios, Alvarado, Ruslan, Gesta. You could even add Pacquiao and JMM.

Am I the only one who thinks Ruslan kills anyone currently at 140? I doubt any of those guys can take what Bradley took tonight.

Ruslan beats them both... Neither has Bradley's defense (especially Rios)

I give Matthysse a shot to outbox him, or stop him becuz Ruslan's defense is pretty bad too, but Rios would probably get put into retirement

to be fair tho Bradley was out on his feet so Provodnikov was just swinging like mad, he will regret it when he realises if he just threw single hard punches he could have stopped Bradley, there was no rush Bradley was completely out of it

I've got to think Provodnikov will improve after this. Yes he took fearsome punishment, but the confidence and experience will really benefit him, considering he's had very few fights, he's young, and he seems really resilent.

I think he could definitely beat Rios (something I didn't see myself writing just a few hours ago) and the same goes for Maidana. But I think Lucas would be serious trouble for Ruslan. He wouldn't stand straight up for the right hand like Bradley, and he's smart and durable enough to tire Provodnikov out before stopping him late.
