Ellenberger is one of the most dangerous guys in the sport in the first round.

You're right. I would give him the first half of the second, too, just for insurance.

Ellenberger with a gastank is an absolute beast of a fighter.

Hendricks v GSP would be exciting as **** for about 2 minutes. Which is all I'd expect it to take for Hendricks to come in swinging wildly and either catch GSP and put him out completely or get dumped on his back and controlled for the rest of the fight.

As a Diaz fan i will say if had to lose im glad it was to GSP. Ive just always appreciated Diaz style I think he's done great with the admitted relatively limited physical ability he has. At one point GSP looked gassed, may have been a different outcome had it been longer. All capped off with another diaz-esque interiew honestly think he has like mild aspergers or some ****.

BTW, every single fight (in the UFC) that has gone to a decision for Hendricks has been close, and could have arguably gone either way. If he doesn't finish GSP in the first, which would be incredible at this stage, he loses handily.

Also, Diaz showed pretty nice TDD tonight. He stuffed a whole lot more than most would have thought. I feel like his TDD has been a bit underrated forever. A lot of people haven't actually watched his old fights. They just see that he has lost decisions and assume that he is easy to wrestle****.

Hendricks has a ****ing really nice streak on paper, though. That's undeniable.

    Fitch
    Koscheck
    Kampmann

That's what I mean man. You can't expect anything different from Nick. Something is amiss mentally like severe social disorder or some sort of mild spectrum disorder. I've always said he was the MMA version of Bobby Fischer brilliant and flawed. I think he is done though whether he wants to be or not he won't be champion.

There is no doubt that he is not all there mentally. It's what makes him interesting, really. Love him or hate him, he is interesting both in and out of the ring.

I would definitely like to see that. Ellenberger is a very tough fight for Maia, especially in the first round. Incredibly dangerous and explosive.

I would say that's a good number one contender fight, but Rory is in the mix, too.

Yeah especially towards the end. GSP seems like he was starting to get gassed a bit which I think was Nicks strategy because he seemed to have more energy to defend takedowns whether it was we going out of them for stuffing them towards the end of the fight.
