Ruslan Provodnikov vs. Oyewale Omotoso

I voted Provodnikov by stoppage, but honestly anything could happen.

I believe the Siberian Rocky has the power to hurt Lucky Boy and the better chin - but Omotoso packs insane explosiveness and while he occasionally exhibits some defensive subtlety you generally don't have to go looking for Provodnikov. If anyone could rattle him and dent that iron mandible at 147 lbs and below, it might be double O. (short of a Randall Bailey or something...whom Provodnikov would obliterate long before he ever got the motor running)

Also, while Omotoso can be caught/hurt/dropped without much difficulty by anyone that stands up to him and cracks - he does exhibit great recuperation and is persistent and determined.

I could see either getting kayoed - more likely Omotoso - or a decision going either way as they swap rounds & knockdowns like baseball cards.

That isn't the first time Omotoso has been hurt, though. He got rocked a few times by journeymen from stubbornly going to war in some of his early undercard appearances in the USA. He still managed to shake off the cobwebs and/or climb off the canvas every time and remain unbeaten prior to Vargas. He can be jolted and does have a defense as shaky as his initial resistance to blows - yet he recovers quickly and comes back with the mentality of getting you back with something bigger.

Provodnikov has a better chin - in fact an excellent one, and can even occasionally use elusive head movement so as to not rely on it...but the man gets hit. A lot, given his style. He may take one better, but Omotoso has more power. A lot more (and that is saying something).
