You would think that if there was any round you would score 10-8 it would be the 1st not the 2nd round simply based on a KD with a delayed reaction...

Just saying... Not questioning your card just wondering how you didnt score the first round 10-8 as well :think

 

Because the KD was officially NOT ruled, even if I 100% believe it was, in addition to Bradley having landed enough good shots himself in that round (as opposed to the 2nd) and because the offensive onslaught by Provodnikov wasn't nearly as long and punishing in the first.

 

When it comes to KD's, you've got to go by what the ref rules.

Like in Mares/Moreno. Mares hurts Moreno, and between the final legal punch landing and Moreno going down, Mares manages to land a bunch square on the back of Moreno's butt cheek. So, according to those who don't follow the ref's judgement of a KD, I should have scored that round 10-9 to Moreno? Or 10-9 to Mares at best?

No. Even if they're wrong, you follow what the ref rules.

 

I disagree with you here. It wasn't clear-cut really. Bradley was hurt and went down but I don't know if you can just overrule the ref. The 2nd round could easily be scored 10-8.

 

Watch the end of round 12 and listen to what Steve Weisfeld says, he says a judge can even if the ref doesnt rule it a KD.
But you can also argue a 10-8 based on that damage in round 1 it was obvious he was hurt badly thats why I scored that a 10-8 round.

what about all the times bradley fell into the ropes, aren't those supposed to be knockdowns?

and even if the ref/judges initially thought it may have been a push down the fact that Bradley got up, wobbled around like a drunk then faceplanted, got up and wobbled back into the ropes should have made it evident to anybody with the least bit of common sense that it was a knockdown.

 

I counted it as a KD and still had Tim winning by two points 114-112

 

Well ignoring what i think about your scorecard fact is for two of the judges that would have made it a draw. Really obvious and common sense thing which had a huge significance on the result. Kissing your sister is better than getting no kiss at all :deal

Making it a Provodnikov victory by 113-112.

Scorecards were kinda' ok. Not a robbery any means, but Bradley should consider himself fortunate to walk away with a win. Provodnikov's 5 rounds were way more dominant than Bradley's 7, and some judges not only could have gave a couple out of those 7 to Provodnikov (because they could have gone either way), but they should have at the very least awarded two of those rounds as 10-8 rounds. At least.

Edit: In fact, screw that, three of those rounds should have been definite 10-8s. Bradley was getting beaten up badly in the second.

 

Does anyone have a list of official scoring criteria

And if so, is there anything in the scoring that says that u must score a round where someone gets hurt in the opponent's favor?

If its there, than 114-113, but if not than 116-112
