I would like to inform you that this is the heavyweight division, where being bigger than the opponent is an advantage like in sumo fights being heavyer than the opponent is advantageous;

Flintoff's opponent was there to lose, so no. Nothing wrong with an 18yr old facing someone smaller than him on his debut, especially when that opponent is an experienced pro who has been there, done that.

In fact there's nothing wrong with a recognised champion facing someone from a lower division. In case you haven't noticed it happens all the time.

I dont know anything about Hughie, how tall is he?Heavy? Amateur background?

 

His promoter is claiming he's 6'6 but he looks about 6'4, no idea how heavy he is.

He won the world junior amateurs last year aged 17, the semi-final & final are on youtube.
